Terms · Effective October 2026
Clear expectations make better working relationships.
These terms describe use of the Morrowline Works website. A signed project agreement takes precedence for services delivered under that agreement.
Important context. Morrowline Works is a fictional studio and these terms are sample website terms, not legal advice. They should be reviewed and adapted by the operator before the site is used to conduct real business.
Using this website
You may use this site for lawful purposes and may not interfere with its security, availability or operation. Content is provided for general information. We may update, remove or correct website content without notice.
Project discussions and scope
A website enquiry or introductory conversation does not create an obligation to provide services. Any engagement should be described in a written proposal or signed agreement setting out scope, deliverables, assumptions, responsibilities, schedule, acceptance process, fees and change control. Work outside the agreed scope may require a revised estimate and written approval.
Fees and payment expectations
Fees, currency, invoicing milestones, taxes, expenses and payment dates will be agreed in the project agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. If payment is overdue, work may be paused after reasonable notice. No payment information should be submitted through this website’s enquiry forms.
Client responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing timely access to relevant people, systems and information; confirming that it has rights to materials it supplies; reviewing work at agreed checkpoints; and making decisions needed to keep delivery moving. Project dates may change when these dependencies change.
Intellectual property
Each party retains ownership of materials it owned or developed independently before a project. Ownership or licence rights for project deliverables, source code, design files and other work will be stated in the signed project agreement. Unless agreed otherwise, transfer of agreed project-specific rights is conditional on payment of applicable fees. Third-party components remain subject to their own licences.
Confidentiality
Each party should protect non-public information received from the other, use it only for the relevant discussion or project and share it only with people who need it and are bound by appropriate confidentiality duties. Information that is public, independently developed or lawfully received without restriction is not confidential under this provision. A separate confidentiality agreement may add detail.
Feedback and website submissions
You confirm that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have permission to share it. Do not submit unlawful material, credentials, payment-card data or information you are not authorised to disclose. A submission does not guarantee a response time or acceptance of a project.
Warranties and limitation
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Morrowline Works disclaims implied warranties relating to the website and does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable under these website terms for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this informational website. Liability for paid project services, including any cap or exclusions, must be addressed in the applicable signed agreement and remains subject to mandatory law.
Third-party services and links
This site may rely on hosting, form processing or analytics providers and may link to third-party websites. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.
Governing law and changes
The operator should specify the governing law and dispute forum in a production agreement after appropriate review. These sample terms do not select a governing law or override mandatory consumer or data-protection rights. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
